I really like this mascara. It wears well, applies easily and looks great. Not all waterproof mascaras hold up well, and a number of them clump and flake. Due to hot Texas summers and humidity, I find I have to use a waterproof. My previous favorite made by L'Oreal was discontinued and I remained frustrated for some time until I found Falsies. My only complaint may not affect others. I often find that by evening time, my eyelashes are itching and I am rubbing my eyes. Of course, this just reinforces the importance of having a facial cleansing routine morning and evening. If you don't want a struggle, you will need a good oil-free eye makeup remover. Mary Kay makes the best eye makeup remover I've ever used.
I've been using this mascara forever... It does not weigh down my thin and hard to curl eye lashes. Its color is true as it advertises. However, this is not entirely waterproof. At the end of the day, I see marks of the mascara on my eye lids. Because it's cheap and works well, I still stick to it. If I use it as a base coat and layer my lashes with a high end mascara, then I won't see any smudges on my lids at the end of the day.
I have very straight and flat eyelashes that require a lash curler. The Falsies mascara doesn't weigh down my lashes and make them flat and straight after I've curled them (as other drug store brands have done.) Although I have found that it works best when I wipe excess mascara off the wand before applying (if it's too wet, it can make my eyelashes lose a little curl.) But for the price, it's definitely a good mascara!
Doesn't clump, goes on evenly. The wand is great to get to all the little lashes and tips of each lash.... and really makes my eyelashes look more defined.
This is a great mascara for the price range. I have been using Diorshow or Dior Iconic for years. The price tag ($30) is pretty steep and so I recently went on a search for a more economical "drug store" brand that worked as well. After several good reviews online, I decided to try The Falsies ($6ish). It is great! It's not AS GREAT as the more expensive brands, but it's darn close.
I like this stuff, it can be a little clumpy, but what mascara can't be at times. I make sure to scrape some off the brush before I use it. And I always have a pin in my makeup bag just for separating my lashes when I need to. This stuff does last very well, but I've had no problems getting it off with either make up remover or just baby oil gel (which fits work a little better, and is cheaper).
