I had a few scratches on my favourite watch. Some were fine but others a bit deeper. I decided to try this product. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the small scratches were smoothed out. I tackled the deeper ones with persistent but gentle polishing as per instructions. I must admit they didn’t disappear completely, but there is was significant improvement and they are barely visible now. I will continue to use this product from time to time to see if they finally go. I must say that overall there is a sufficient improvement so I can continue to enjoy wearing this watch.
I stand by everything I have already said. However a friend suggested I should try a product called T-cut, it is intended to remove light scratches from cars! I tried just a little of the cream and gently polished the watch face with a circular motion. The difference is amazing. Most of the deeper scratches are now very light and I am happier than before!
I bought this polish after badly scratching the face of my new Casio watch. The scratches were very obvious and annoying, but after a couple of applications of this polish, they are virtually unnoticeable. They can still be seen if the watch is held at the right angle to the light and viewed closely, but for normal purposes they are no loner visible. Easy to apply with a bit of cotton wool. A very small tube - but you need very little, so it will go a long way.
I used this to remove scratches from the face of a cheaper but much liked watch and it worked fine after lots of rubbing. I don't think it would have been so good on a crystal watch glass perhaps? Anyway, I am pleased with the price and the result. Instructions say use cotton wool but that would be inadequate. Use a lint free thin cotton cloth such as an old handkerchief.
Very easy to use. Used it to remove scratches on glasses, but as the damage caused was significant (I knocked my glasses off the bedside unit, and they hit my metal framed bed, as well as the corner of the unit) the damage took quite a while to repair, and has left a (slight) "blurred patch". I have used it to repair scratched CD's, too. For that, it works wonders!
I used this on my acrylic glasses as they were fairly sctrached with almost a cloudy look to the them whilst wearing after leaving in my car which got moved around lens down. I used 2 application's on each lense. My glasses are useable now and are very clear. Used on a watch face and had similar results. Pressed fairly hard for a duration of 2-3 minutes. I only gave 4 star due to how small the tube is.
Did a good job of revitalising several watches, including a VERY badly scratched Fossil domed plastic crystal (in combination with several grades of fine sanding pads). For a lightly scratched watch lens, results show after 5-10 mins rubbing. For more badly damaged lenses, patience and energy is required - this is no quick fix - spent probably an hour on the Fossil - a Dremel or equivalent with polishing attachment may be worth a try. A vital part of any watch-person's toolkit in my opinion.
Good repair to deep scratches on an expensive mobile phone camera lens, which were ruining the pictures. Used a microfibre cloth. Very impressed. Much cheaper and easier than to buy a replacement unit. Not so effective on watch face, but less important.
Helped some areas my perspex top table some scratches. Small tube but wanted get scratches out. Some areas. But deep ones more difficult will give another go Find since using easier to keep clean polish perspex gathers dust more than glass.
Sorry but this product didn't quite meet my expectations. Tried it on a smart watch & my house phone both with very minor scuffs & they were only marginally improved, but I suppose that's better than no result.
