First off, I got the darkest shade #31 which is described as Golden Beige but it's not even golden, it's actually pink. Second, this is NOT for anyone darker than light/medium skin tone. For reference, I'm in the Mac NC42 shade range so I'm tan. If you're Fenty 300 or darker, don't get this. It did dry down a bit darker than first application but it still gave me a white cast and went gray around my mouth and jaw area.
The product itself is nice, it went on smooth and looked nice on the skin, but the shade range is awful and tbh it felt drying. I can see this working for people with oily skin. If you have dry/dehydrated skin, use with caution.
Overall, the product/formula itself is alright. It definitely smoothed things out and looked good on the skin and not cakey but it can be drying and the shades are very limited so that's a huge negative. If you're light enough to use this, I say it's worth a shot to try it
I follow IG @itsJessicaBraun /vid creator (beauty, fashion, travel) This is her #holygrail #goto Her skin looks great using this product. I agree it is moisturizing, light weight and sheer. Unfortunately there is a limited shade range. I tried 3 different shades hoping to find one. It was just to light with my skin type (Pacific Islander) Deducted 2 stars.
I ordered this because I wanted a BB Cream for the summer. I ordered the darkest color because I am between a NC 42 and NC44 in MAC and this was very light for me. This has a very PINK UNDERTONE and I am a yellow undertone so I could not make this product work for me. However, I wore is 3 times (tried very hard to pack on bronzer to make do) and by the third time I could see a brightening effect on my skin. The product does claim to brighten your skin and it definitely did that. The brightening wasn't permanent though but maybe that is because I didn't use it often.
Consistency was thick and it gave a very matte finish to the skin. It also held up to NYC humidity very well, minimal oil breakouts on my face on a hot summer day. To me its a bit thicker than most BB Creams but less thicker than most foundation (if that makes sense). Too bad the color and undertones weren't right for me
The smell is really strong, but I got it because it's one of the only korean brands that has darker skin tones. It gets tacky after a while. I would recommend etude house mineral bb cream, but they discontinued their darkest shade recently.
This is my first time buying/using BB cream. I didn't know what to expect. The first time I applied it, it looked fine, wasn't that sticky. The shade was lighter than my skin tone but that's what I wanted in the first place (I wear 322 for Maybelline Fit Me, for reference, LOL). I only use this product once a week or so. But I feel like each time I wear the product, it gets stickier and sticker each time, even when I used a setting powder. It also doesn't oxidize as well as it did before. I really liked it at first, but now its meh. I just use it as back up.
