Upon first purchase I liked this camera. Aside from the parent monitor being super lightweight and not staying up well on a surface without falling, the camera is also lightweight and fits nicely inside an arm which I used over the pack n' play. I like the VOX option and it works great. The thing I initially disliked was as soon as I turn off the parent monitor, a bright blue light turns on the camera and shines onto baby's face. I have been using the monitor for 3.5 months now and the battery is gone. I cannot have my monitor unplugged anymore. I would like the move the monitor with me to other rooms in the house or I keep it under my pillow overnight - which I can bo longer to Save your money and buy something else (like I now have to).
The video is clear, although laggy. It's gotta be like 2 frames per second. Like your looking at someones webcam, if they were on dial-up. I could live with that... But the audio just sucks. Many times we've missed our toddler waking up and getting out of bed because there was no noise picked up to draw our attention to the screen. Our previous monitor had great sound sensitivity - this one, not so much.
This baby monitor has so many good reviews and I was hopeful it would work for us but unfortunately it did not. It kept losing connection and the beeping sound that goes off every time it lost connection and reconnected got really annoying to hear over and over. I charged the monitor as instructed and battery is working fine. We live in a single level house and when in the next room we still lose connection. I will return.
The SereneLife Wireless Videp Baby Monitor was not the monitor for us.. it had some unnecessary flaws and cheaply made. Flaws: Though the description picture does say it moves 360 degrees, it is manual my be only, so you have to move it by hand everytime you want to see somewhere else. Also, there is a quite abnoxious noise that goes off on the monitor whenever it is on, no matter what volume you have it at. Overall; yes it works but definitely not worth the price.
Pros: - Good video quality in normal and low level light conditions. - Good battery life
Cons: - The audio quality is intermittent. At times the monitor will pick up sound but other times it will be completely cut out. This started to occur at around month 2. Something similar happened with our FITNATE monitor but this one cuts completely out. - The portion of the monitor that comes out as a stand broke at month 3. - Our last monitor (FITNATE) worked up to 19 months until we dropped it.
Good if you only need it for 6 months. The battery doesn’t last and need to be plugged in 24/7 and it only works if I put the charger in a certain spot. Trying to get a new one currently. I think it has a warranty. I’m giving two stars bc it’s decent for the price I paid.
This baby monitor was great for a little under 3 months and tonight the sound stopped working. Luckily I woke up from his cries through the walls. Who knows how long he was crying before! Really upset about this. Overall it was good while it lasted. Returning for a full refund and buying a different monitor.
Range is inadequate. It beeps Every time it loses range. This happens sometimes when people walk in front of it. It also happens randomly at night which will awaken you. So as long as you don’t wanna sleep this is the perfect item. Also the lights are pretty bright.
