Dongle wasnt in the mouse like the instructions state.. It is in the box lip!

I opened everything in order to install it and where the dongle was supposed to be in the mouse and where it clearly states it was not in the mouse itself. spent a bunch of time looking for it and decided to return it but then when I was packing up the box, The dongle was attached to one of the cardboard edges. Very easy to miss!

I bought this set to replace the exact same (or so I thought based on model numbers) set I had because my old keyboard started to have issues. As someone noted previously, the USB dongle is not where they said it should be (i.e. in the mouse's battery compartment) but was tucked into a slot on the box the set came in -- easily missed until I was going to return the set. So, fine and well -- I got it all connected, cheap mouse and all. But I'm no happier.

I'm extremely disappointed to see that this set is no longer compatible with the Unifying Receiver, meaning I can't use my favourite (non-cheapo) Logitech mouse without using up a second USB port for the Unifying Receiver for it. The whole point of the Unifying Receiver was so you didn't have to have several USB ports being used up for your external peripherals. (I might as well have a wired keyboard and mouse if I'm going to have to use up two USB ports anyway.) I don't know what Logitech was thinking -- wish I'd read more of the reviews before buying this set.

Giving it two stars only because the keyboard seems to be functional and familiar; otherwise this would be a one-star review

I've never had a keyboard as bad as this one. The keys don't respond unless you really press hard and God forgive if you want to put a space between words. Have already ordered a replacement and I have only been using this one for a day. I really got the lemon of the bunch. The only reason I ordered this was because of the reviews. Cannot wait for the new one to arrive. Sorry, can't recommend.

I was looking for a full size wireless keyboard that would not take up too much space on my desk. That meant looking for a full size keyboard with a numeric keypad, but without large border of wrist pad.

I use this keyboard 10+ hours a day, as a professional software developer. I wanted clicks with a positive feel but without being as noisy as mechanical gaming keyboards, and without the keys being as tall as on gaming keyboards.

So far, after using it for a couple of days, I must say that I am impressed, considering the low cost of this keyboard.

I don't use the mouse that came with it, as it is too small for my hand. In a pinch, I could use it for short periods of time, but I'm sure I would be uncomfortable bordering on wrist pain if I used it for any length of time.

The media keys on top are actually quite useful. I especially like the calculator one, as I often need to pop up the Windows calculator for a quick calculation as part of my work.

*Update* This keyboard has made it's way to the electronic recycling program. Absolutely the biggest piece of garbage I have ever purchased. The mouse works fine but the keyboard doesn't respond at all. Second one that I had (first one had the same issues and was replaced). Save your money and get something else.
I had the first set I bought replaced because the keyboard would become non-responsive or delayed right from our of the box. Now the replacement keyboard is doing it again after about 6 weeks of use.

This package did not contain the USB dongle, it is usually on the box itself on top opening flaps.
The dongle for this cheap set is not the unifying dongle that will not work unless you use the cheap one firmware and install on the other one.

The keyboard is okay but the mouse is too small ( looks like a laptop mouse version) and is very poor at tracking the position on the desktop, even after lowering the speed as it was set to a ridiculous speed by default.

Never thought I would be hacking a Keyboard and mouse set usb dongle to actually make it work in 2020
Not recommending this mouse for hours of use as your hands will hurt due to the small mouse size

This package is not worth 15$ let alone 50$

We had cheaper and far superior feel keyboards in 1977

Buyer be ware.

Logitech isn't a bad company when it comes to electronic devices and equipment. Overall they are pretty good. This Keyboard is my version of an entry level Keyboard; fairly clunky; with chunky keys. The mouse is exactly that; small and compact. You could definitely miss it on your desk; if they were side by side. Easy to miss.

I bought this for my wife that needed a wireless Keyboard. It was easy to pair with her laptop. Again, nothing overall fancy; very basic for anyone that needs a Keyboard for every day use but doesn't want to spend the dollars on a more, ergonomic; gaming style Keyboard or something fancier. Its just that...It's Ok.
One thing with mentioning the dongle is actually locate in the flap of the Keyboard Box not in the mouse itself. I know, odd and WTF? Shouldn't be there; should really be in....Yep you gu as it the Mouse! Not sure who from Logitechs Marketing and Sales Department thoguth about that. Bad design; so make sure to check the flap of the box.

So again, nothing to brag home about; it's cheap, basic and simple. So if your not designing webpages, creating Excel or Power Point Presentations this is a good starter.

Ah, it's yet another one of those really dumb packagings that put the tiny USB receiver within the cardboard box. Many will make the mistake of unboxing the keyboard and mouse, not being able to find the USB receiver that is crucial to make both items work, and throwing away the box. It turns out the USB receiver is NOT inside the mouse ( or keyboard ), not even in its own little bag, but rather held inside the cardboard box's opening. This is a very dumb way of storing such a small thing. I wish they'd stop doing that. Coming from Logitech, an old tech company, you would think they would know better. In any case, both keyboard and mouse work fine. The mouse is especially good quality for the price. It's precise, easy on the hand, silent. The keyboard is a little less interesting. It's very noisy and made of cheap plastic. But you get what you pay for. This duo is useful for people who want to have a backup keyboard/mouse. I use it for my Raspberry PI and for an old computer I got for 50 bucks that I use as a dedicated server. I recommend throwing a few more bucks if you are looking to equip yourself for real with an expensive PC. Definitely not for gamers.

UPDATE: The keyboard began malfunctioning a few months ago. In total, I'd say it worked for maybe 8 months before glitching. Sometimes the keyboard would lag and the keys I'd press would only be recognized a second later. I tried everything, from replugging to reinstalling the driver to changing the batteries to moving my PC but nothing solved the issue. I reckon it was the keyboard that was breaking because I've never had issues with the mouse which was using the same USB transmitter. Logitech really hit the bottom of the barrel, they used to be a leading brand in such hardware, what a shame. I bought a wired keyboard and mouse now because they made me lose trust in USB material. This probably was the last time I'm buying from Logitech, a company that I used to buy from. I got their very first laser mouse decades ago. Sad!

Logitech in their infinite wisdom has dropped the unifying dongle from this product. Instead you get a single dongle that only works for this keyboard and mouse. Even worse, they have replaced the Set-Point software with something new called "Options". This download is 3 times the size of the old Set-Point software, and the first thing it does is ask you to create an account and to share your history! No Thank You! Of course the "Options" software only controls the mouse, so if you want to map the keyboard, you still need to install the Set-Point package! I uninstalled the "Options" package since this mouse is a very basic mouse and can be controlled with Microsoft generic options. The only function that you lose is the battery monitor.

While I have always been a fan of Logitech products, this change from the unifying dongle and this keyboard in particular are changing my opinion. The keyboard has a pretty solid feel to it, but it constantly drops keystrokes. Since that is the primary function of a keyboard, I cannot recommend it. Also, the mouse that comes with this package feels really cheap (probably because it is cheap). Those 2 problems combined make this package not a bargain. I am very disappointed that Logitech is dropping the unifying dongle and software. That change alone is enough to make me look elsewhere for keyboard and mouse replacements. Overall, not recommended!
