I don't know if It works yet. I haven't been able to set it up. I used to have this exact camera and it usually easy to set up but this one won't connect to my wifi. Not sure if it's just a defective one or what but otherwise the seller is fine and the item arrived fast.
Update: 11/15/2020 - after contacting Dlink support, I still could not get this camera to work so I am returning it.
They are easy to setup although I couldn’t figure out how to have a remote friend to get hooked up. The night vision is great. The cloud feature after an alert takes a really long time to be ready. For the cameras with person recognition the quality super sucks. Any light change even on a low tolerance level and it just keeps firing multiple times a day useless.

The product is easy to setup and the instructions are clear. Most of these WiFI security camera works hand-in-hand with an app. When I downloaded the Android app for my Samsung S7 and setup this camera at home, I am able to view the camera remotely i.e. away from home. Then I proceeded to try to set up motion detection recording and alert, I played with all the menu options in the app and was not able to do this,. Finally out of no choice, I went to Dlink support website and realized the Android app is not working as what is instructed on the Dlink website. On the automation page, after selecting <Automation 1> and <+>, there is no <Next> on the Add Rule page. There is no way I can setup motion detecton alert with an app that is not working as expecting. The video is clear. I have an echo dot and even though it is Alexa-compatible, this feature could not be used, You will need the Echo Spot / Video to make use of Alexa to show camera video. With so many alternative IP cameras available, this is at the moment not a compelling security camera to have,

I definitely have mixed feelings about this one.
It is easy to set up and mount (if you so desire) and it does work as advertised but there are some drawbacks as well.
What I like: * Android software works well. It is easy & quick to download and the interface is relatively painless to navigate the first time around. * Mount is very sturdy and allows for a very wide range of motion.
What I dislike: * Camera is very grainy, even with direct line of sight to the router & less than 30' of distance (5g/2g router) * Night vision is "iffy". The camera senses a nearby object and sets inferred based off of this - rest of room is very dark. * Senses all movement - be ready for a ton of alerts on your phone. * Microphone "on" increases the number of phone alerts. * Only saves 1 day of events. Not very long if you are traveling * Save to flash card or cloud, but not both.
Bottomline is that it is okay, but be ready for a bunch of alerts - most of them false. After one day, we decided to turn this off and only use when we will be gone for extended periods. We have a great watch dog and this beats any camera hands down!

I'm not sure why anyone makes 720p cameras anymore. Image quality is fairly poor. This camera fisheyes quite a bit. I prefer cameras I can just access images/videos from directly rather than having to use a manufacturer's app, and this is a good example. It feels like there's twenty taps from when you open the app until you are viewing video. It pushes data out through DLink's servers rather than allowing you to pull data. This is great if you're behind a firewall in which you can't open a port, but for home use when I can control the network I prefer to not have to involve DLink.
The video feed in the advertisement pictures obviously are not indicative of the actual "HD" quality coming off the device.
3,0 de 5 estrelasSlow, difficult to navigate app. Short cable. Not great image quality.

I have used several different Wi-Fi cameras and this is one of my least favorite. I really like the flexibility offered by the way this camera can sit on a shelf, or be mounted to a wall/ceiling and easily positioned to a good angle. That's about all I like.
Things I don't like: -iOS app is slow, and takes way too many taps to accomplish simple tasks -not HomeKit compatible -image quality is pretty poor -included charger is too short -setup was slow
Overall, it's a decent camera for the price. I am not thrilled about this, but I will keep using it until I can purchase something that is HomeKit compatible to replace it.
3,0 de 5 estrelasOk camera, but the app needs work

This camera appears to be well built and does let me view my basement from anywhere. I primarily got this to check in and make sure there are no problems with my hot water heater or HVAC system. The night vision is good enough that I can see the machinery in the dark and the quality of picture is good enough that I could certainly see a leak, though 720 seems like a stretch.
Pros: * Ok night vision and video quality * Small form factor * View-able anywhere
Cons: * Video quality could be better * No long term archiving from DLINK * App is a kluge and difficult to use
3,0 de 5 estrelasAttractive camera, hard to set up

For whatever reason we had the hardest time setting this thing up. Once we got it working, it does a descent job. It sits nicely on our shelf and reviewing footage isn't a problem. The motion detection works quite well.
