Design & the quality of the sound is good . But you will not get the after sales support by Sennheiser. There is no support in India . There are only 4 service centre’s across India. It’s time taking process for any small accessories. I literally facing the problem to purchase audio cable for this model . I don’t recommend Sennheiser in India. Don’t buy . When they are interest to sell there should be service as well across all metro cities in India.
I've had these for 10 months now. At first everything was ok. Then things started to fail. The audio through the right channel failed first. Turning on and off used to cure the problem. Now it has become more persistent over the las four weeks to the point you are lucky if you can get both channels working. Call quality was always poor so if that's important forget these. I've found several incidences now online of people having the same issue's. Will be returning as they are still under warranty. After being a loyal Sennheiser buyer for 30 years this has now ended and I will be looking at other manufacturers.
I returned these when I realised that the app did not provide a graphic EQ facility as shown on the website. It merely allowed you to select a preset from a very limited set, none of which was useful to me. Consequently, I did not get around to fully testing them.
Can only connect with Bluetooth via their app. The app doesn't work on Apple IOS!? Why cant they just have a button that turns Bluetooth on, so you can pair to any device? For the price, they aren't that comfy either. They may look it, but the headband pushes through the support and aches a bit on the head. This is the second pair of Bluetooth headphones I've attempted with Sennheiser after using them for decades. Unfortunately, I've now given up with the brand. Time to shop around again. Very disappointing.
The headphones will pair via bluetooth with a Windows-based PC, but they won't work. This is a well-documented issue, with seemingly hundreds of buyers complaining about the same problem. The manufacturer seems unable to fix the matter, so the only working recommendation is to use the headphones with the USB cable - when indeed they work.
For the price, you can get a lot better than wireless headphones having to be cable-wired into your computer.
Not made for phone calls and conferences, sound quality on recieving end is very poor, if you work with sealing fan or a table fan near you, person(s) on recieving end only recieve windy noice; noice cancellation doesn't work in this case.
Buy this headphones only if you are in to natural sound output, no doubt it has some punchy base but not as good as compared to Sony's XM3/4 this headphones.
Battery backup is another issue, it won't last a day if you have to use it for entire day for phone calls or video editing or streaming. It says that it provides 20-22hr backup, but that is not the case. I hardly got 10-12 hrs battery backup, half of the time i turned off the noise cancellation feature. Battery backup is worse, it means that life id this headphone is lesser.
I had to return initial device as the outer package and product box were tempered during transportation. Amazon has provided a replacement for it. (I have to say that Amazon customer support is way better than others ecommerce in India, they didn't even asked any questions when I raised replacement request except I had to verify the product package with customers support, as soon as it is verified they placed replacement order and very next day I received replacement order). Unfortunately the replacement product has some manufacturing defects (or the intentionally send bad product I don't know what was the case, ) it didn't charge at all. So finally I returned headphones and get my money refunded.
Now I am so scared that I won't buy more than 5k product online. I need to verify it before buying it.
